Aperture 2 Released
Apple has released Aperture 2.0 and I just got done taking it for a spin. Here are some thoughts:
- Interface has changed for the better. A bit less cluttered and the filmstrip option for thumbnails is nice. Someone at Apple has been using Lightroom I guess. Imagine that - a better interface through user testing. Who would have thought it. But that's a whole other post... [More]
Departing
for a change I "worked" on this wildlife shot a bit, doing some careful vignetting and other dodging/burning to get the effect.

Victoria Harbour Night shot
I decided I needed to break the mold of shooting everything at low ISO and on a tripod. I am so adicted to my tripod I am sure it is sulking because I did not use it for these shots. So I am hand holding, shoting with a 400 ISO and for the second image I used 100 ISO and zoomed out just at the end of the exposure. The clear image is so as you had some idea what you are looking at.
