Plant Identification (Photo 2)
I need to identify the flowering plant shown here. I took the photo at the University of Montana.
Any ideas what it is? Or where I could find out what it is?
I have another one -- but I'll post that separately.
Thanks,
Jean

I think this is a 'Painted Daisy' or Tanacetum 'Robinson's Red'
which is a variety of daisy that has scarlet red flowers, ferny foliage, and the flowers measure around 2 and a half inches across. Obviously, I can't tell in the picture what size the flower is, but the leaves acd flower structure looks like the Tanacetum robinson's red variety.
Other than that, I'd suggest sending the picture in to a University Agri Department or Cooperative Extension service. A lot of times, you'll find someone who does plant identification... that could be worth looking into if you really have to know exactly what it is.
Thank you so much!!!
If I recall correctly, the flower is about 2.5 inches across, so you are probably right.
And thanks for the reference to the Agri Dept or Coop Ext service.
Cool.
