Shot my first wedding with it last week.
I would highly recomend this lens for the following reasons.
1) Price - resting around $350 for the lens and hood, it's a steal.
2) Glass...it's beautiful. Very high quality. You can tell even by looking at the coatings.
3) It's UltraSonic....so it's very quiet.
4) The bokeh is very very beautiful.
